Acting on behalf of Coventry City Council, Drake Howard Property has disposed of Pegasus House for a second time in four years and, it did not take long to close the deal with an innovative ‘green’ tenant.
Wastewater Fuels is an environmental technology business which is developing processes to create energy and water from commercial and domestic wastewater. The business has taken a six-year lease on the property and in keeping with its image, is set to invest in improvements to increase the energy efficiency of the building and journeys by staff to and from the building.
Marie Farrell, the marketing agent, said “This new Company is a great asset to Coventry. It has received funding from Coventry and Warwickshire Innovation Programme for their Research & Development. The Grant supported new employment of both full time and part time positions and all parts sourced for the project are manufactured in Coventry. Renewable energy is very relevant in times of such high energy costs. Pegasus House met their needs for office space and a warehouse to be used as their laboratory testing”.
