An established Coventry firm has completed a deal for additional warehouse space in record time, to help meet their increasing demand.
Carton Edge Limited, have been providing a wide range of carton finishing services to the UK packaging and print industry for nearly 30 years. Innovation is at the forefront of their success and has played a major part in pioneering many carton packaging designs, as well as manufacturing.
They have outgrown their existing factory and needed additional space for both storage and production. The new unit on Curriers Close, was ideally located within minutes of their current location. With Carton Edge having the prestigious BRC Hygiene accreditation, the new premises had to conform to high standards.
Marie, from Drake Howard Property, who represented Carton Edge, identified the property from the client brief. She negotiated terms with the Landlord’s Agent, Holt Commercial and introduced Andrew Watts, Partner in the Real Estate Team at The Wilkes Partnership Solicitors to act as legal representative for the Tenant and complete the Lease within 10 days of instruction.
Marie was “delighted to meet client expectations of occupancy in the manufacturers ‘busy period’, close to Christmas. It has meant Carton Edge has not had to pay expensive outsourced temporary storage rates and can immediately expand their facility and look forward to continued growth.”

It is believed, but not admitted, Marie enjoyed taking the ‘cherry picker’ ride to inspect the roof for schedule of condition purposes!
