We have all found ourselves in an unprecedented time, with all companies, including Drake Howard Property, having to implement protocols to ensure we are following Government and World Health Organisation Guidelines announced in response to the global pandemic of COVID-19, whilst still providing our clients a high quality service.
The well-being of our staff is paramount. We made the decision to close the office and work from home, in line with the Government strategies to reduce the spread of the virus. We have overcome any technical challenges and have continued in our full working roles. We can still be contacted on our landline number, plus mobiles and emails. All non-essential meetings are being undertaken via telephone or conference calls, as opposed to face to face meetings.
As a team we have remained busy, mainly due to our large property management portfolio. With “lockdown” being announced by the Government just days before March Quarter rent payments fell due, we received a high number of tenants wanting to arrange payment plans and/or applications for reduced rents. Each request has been dealt with sympathetically and on its merits and we continue to advise our Client Landlords and assist Tenant’s in these troubled times.
